PowerShot Arena: Elemental Warfare

PowerShot Arena is an online 3v3 third-person shooter that was created by two Game Design students for their bachelor's thesis. The aim of the thesis was to research how specific level design techniques can be used to convey information to players.

The aim of the game is for one team to occupy a capture point and earn points towards their team until their obelisk rises to the top and you win! Fling deadly fireballs, kill your enemy and help your team rise to victory!

Starting the game and creating a session:

To play the game simply start the application, once started 1 person starts a server in the menu on the right hand side of the screen. A room with a unique autogenerated name will appear, others join by pressing the join button next to the room name. Once players are ready, the creator of the server presses the START GAME button and all players automatically load into the next scene.
To end the game simply tab out and close the application.

Playing:

Play using either keyboard and mouse or controller

Movement: Walking/Sprinting

Actions: Jumping/Aiming/Shooting
